Come and explore the mesmerising and therapeutic nature of alcohol inks.

This workshop is designed to equip you with all the skills and techniques needed to create breathtaking intuitive alcohol ink Paintings & Homewares. You will learn how to manipulate alcohol ink, mediums, colour theory, composition and mindset exercises for intuitive work.

Starting the session you will be introduced to the materials including mixatives and blending solutions, learn their properties and uses.

Following this you will learn colour theory and intuitive mindset techniques for abstraction. 

After a demonstration in techniques you will work on your own masterpieces on both Yupo Paper and 1 x Planter pot under the guidance of an experienced Artist. 

Please note: We do not recommend this workshop to pregnant women as chemicals in the form of isopropyl alcohol is used. 

This is an adult open age class but is suitable for age 12 plus and no previous experience is necessary.

Please note children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

All materials are provided including nibbles & refreshments.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

Saskia Malwina is a multidisciplinary creative with a background in visual arts, health education, and coaching, as well as wearable art design. Her artistic journey, influenced by a nomadic lifestyle, has been deeply connected to nature and has taken her to various breathtaking landscapes. After a life-altering near-death experience in 2021, she developed a passion for the healing power of art. She pursued an Advanced Diploma in Creative Arts and Health, which led to scholarships, awards, and grants. Saskia's art reflects her life experiences, often capturing interactions with animals, dreamscapes, and nature's moods. She works with various mixed media and is known for her wearable art label, Sunfox Collective. She has extensive experience working with NDIS and disability services, teaching art courses, and participating in diverse artistic expressions.
