ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Ashlee Capomolla is the founder of Ashlee Studio a small creative business based in the Sutherland Shire. Her passion initially started as a hobby creating fashion illustrations as a creative outlet. Ashlee’s full-time work is in finance, art was a way that she could escape and feel calm in a very busy life. Soon after sharing her art on social media she received requests to create personalised art.
Ashlee is a self-taught artist and although she loved creating personalised art she wanted to expand her skills, soon delving into textured art. She has spent hours researching and perfecting her skills to create beautiful textured art. Ashlee found that she loves the imperfections of textured art which makes each piece unique, which is quite different to illustrating people and pets.
Textured artwork allows you to go with the flow and have fun without putting pressure on creating a perfect painting.
She enjoys sharing what she has learnt and the mindful benefits of creating textured art with her masterclass participants. She loves connecting with other creative minds and creating a community which she can help other artists learn new skills.
