Join us for a fun afternoon workshop learning how to make your very own Kokedamas.

The art of creating Kokedamas originated in Japan and involves wrapping and binding plants in moss and string, transforming plants into a mini work of art.

We’ll show you how to make your own and fashion a twine hanger, too so that you can continue to add to your beautiful Urban Jungle at home.

Hang them around the home or use to decorate shelves or tables.

You will be provided all materials to make 2 Kokedamas (1 big plus 1 small).

This is an adult open age class but is suitable for age 12 plus and no previous experience is necessary however children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

All materials and refreshments will be provided.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

Briannan Parker (but you can call me Bri)!

I was that little girl that always trailed behind, picking flowers wherever I went and carrying them around with me all day to put my (albeit dead) arrangement of sidewalk flowers into a water glass. From then on, I have been passionate about florals as a creative outlet, as my career and as a way of radiating joy and happiness to others. As a florist, I get to create, play with flowers AND make people happy all in a days work. As a creative, I am grateful to have the opportunity to connect with individuals from all walks of life in a safe, vibrant and enlightening environment and getting to share my passion and creative energy with you
