LEARN TO SEW CUSHIONS - A WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS with Silvana from Beaches Sewing.
How many times have you been inspired to change the look of your home?
Just a few simple details that will make the place more cozy, inviting or more suited to your style?
This class is a wonderful introduction into making a basic cushion with a zip closure.
The cushion you will make is 40cm x 40cm.
We will plan the look, cut and prepare the fabric, insert a zipper and finish the cushion. All the possibilities! You could have a different look for your home more often or make some unique gifts for others.
This valuable skill will have you making cushions, small zip bags, pencil cases, coin purses and more.
We will provide a selection of fabrics on the day and once you have learned the process - you will be able to whip up cushions in your favourite fabrics in no time at all.
Cushion inserts will be available to purchase on the day.
We will be using Janome DC250 Sewing Machines on the day which we provide.
If you are looking into purchasing a machine - Silvana who runs Beaches Sewing will be able to advise you and provide you with the best machine for your ongoing use.
This is an adult open age class but is suitable for age 10 plus and no previous experience is necessary however children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
